Model Gasoline Engine Plans

We have for sale the following plan sets.  All consist of details, assemblies and instructions on 8'' x 11" sheets.  In addition, each set contains drawings covering construction of spark plug, fuel tank, piston rings, valve seating tool and ignition diagram, as well as optional construction choices.  All are fabricated of aluminum, brass and steel stock without castings.  However, the farm engines may look better with spoked flywheels and sources for these are given also.  All of these are well proven designs, some having dozens of units successfully made by amateur machinists.  All engines run on gasoline with spark ignition.  The price of any single set of plans is $10.00 plus $3.00 postage.

An article on these engines was recently published in Gas Engine Magazine. You can read it here.

On March 26, 2006 Dick Upshur passed away after a long battle with cancer. He was a true gentleman who will be missed by the model engine community and all who knew him.

His engine plans will still be available through his daughter, Helen Upshur Whitcher. She can be contacted at 843-569-2662 or by email.
